Individual example of how our own Life Force is directly or indirectly impacted:
Whether consciously aware or not our energetic field is constantly flowing and changing. Impacting and being impacted by everything we direct our attention to. So, you wake up in the morning, the sun is beaming in your window, and you are fully rested and feeling great. You jump out of bed, ready to get on with the day. Open heart, peaceful, and capable of seeing the beauty and blessings all around. As you're stepping out the door, you think, “I am going to treat myself to my favorite coffee and muffin this morning".
Stepping into your favorite local coffee shop with a big smile, you wait patiently in line. You can feel the person ahead of you is emanating a heavy dense cloud of energy. You don’t totally take notice but you can subtly feel it. Then the person gets up to the till and orders something that just sold out. The person just loses it and erupts in anger, yelling and cursing at the cashier. Everyone in the cafe stops what they are doing and turns around to observe what is going on. The poor employee gets slammed with this cloud of darkness. Now embarrassed, uncomfortable, desperately trying to apologize, asking if the person would like something different. Making every attempt to relieve the situation and appease the person who just unfairly unleashed a tornado of negative energy.
Questions for simple awareness (judgment-free) :
What just happened to your energy?
Did you feel it?
Where in your body did it hit you?
How did it make you feel?
How much energy did you just lose?
How good does your coffee and muffin taste now?
How long does this negative person affect you?
Momentarily?
Just until you got out of the shop?
Do you continue to carry this vacuum of darkness and think about the incident for the rest of the day?
How many people do you share this story with?
How many other people in the cafe did it drain?
How long do you think the other people carried the negative energy?
How many times do you tell the story?
Of all the people experiencing and witnessing the event, how many people do they tell?
How long does it take to rebuild your energy to where it was before you walked in that door?
How long is that employee bombarded with this negative energy?
What is the damage done energetically in one single moment?
Someone exploding in anger, because they are not aware of themself or their inner turmoil, nor willing to look within. How many were clouded in negativity and drained from just one outburst? No judgment because we have all done it. This doesn’t make it right or OK, it just is.
What this experience represents is a person, having a hard time, not in control of their emotions. This person at that moment was an almost empty battery. Unaware of how to fill up in healthy ways, instead doing the only thing that they felt could be done in that unconscious moment. Take the energy from anyone and anything possible just to fill up. It does not matter if the energy is positive or negative, it's still energy. And perhaps the most interesting part, every time any of the bystanders think about this moment, or speak about this moment their energy is immediately directed right back to this person who exploded. At the moment, for the day, week, month, or year, doesn’t matter. As long as the energy goes to this moment, it is still feeding into this negative experience.
Food for thought for now.
